This is the classical western boxing with a little twist. Mezger Martial Arts Boxing trains people in classical sport-oriented boxing and in "Combat Boxing", which has more applications in self-defense and cross training for other martial arts. This program is taught in both group and private training settings. Boxing is recommended for people looking to just get into shape, for practical self-defense, or anyone wanting to compete.
Level I - The class focus is on developing both real boxing techniques and physical conditioning. This class breaks down into technique development, bag work, focus mitt work, boxing drills and conditioning training. There is no sparring (practice fighting).
Requirements: gym shirt, 16oz. gloves, hand wraps and a desire to get sweaty.
Level II – This is our body boxing class. This gives people the opportunity to spar, without risking head contact. You can come in and work on combinations to the body and get used to sparring with a range of different students.
Requirements: gym shirt, two months of Level I and/or instructor recommendation. 16oz. gloves, hand wraps, head gear, mouthpiece, groin protector (men).
Level III - This is the full sparring class. This is good for students that want to take their training to the next level and students that want to compete.
Requirements: gym shirt, instructor approval, 16 oz. gloves, hand wraps, head gear, mouthpiece, groin protector (men).
Muay Thai is an international style of kickboxing that blends the science of western boxing with the art of eastern kicking. Students are taught various striking techniques ranging from kicks, punches, knee & elbow strikes. Muay Thai / Kickboxing is the most effective form of striking arts. It is the perfect blend of modern training with traditional values. This is a great way to get into incredible shape, learn an effective self-defense method or as a springboard into competitive kickboxing.

Level II – The focus of this class is to teach the science of fighting. The class uses drills, both individual and partner training to develop skills used in the ring and/or self-defense. Light sparring is introduced in this class, it prepares you for the next level. This is the sparring class. In this course students practice their fighting skills in both boxing and/or kickboxing. The amount varies on the individuals training needs and focus.
Requirements: gym shirt, two months of Level I and/or instructor recommendation. 16oz. gloves, hand wraps, shin guards, head gear, mouthpiece, groin protector (men).
Wrestling is a combat sport involving takedowns, throws, clinch fighting, pins and other grappling methods. This class is for all skill levels and is great for high school and collegiate wrestlers, MMA fighters, people wanting to compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or anyone interested in learning a new skill set.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a hybrid form of japanese judo and jiu-jitsu developed in the country of Brazil by the Gracie family. BJJ emphasizes ground technique; ground control, submission holds and choke holds. This an extremely effective form of grappling and elements of BJJ can be seen in almost all MMA and UFC bouts.
Requirements: judo/jiu-jitsu Gi (uniform), mouth piece and groin protector are optional but highly recommended
Combat Sports kids is designed for our older kids (ages 7 and up). These students learn striking, wrestling, and grappling skills. Kids learn important self-defense skills as well as goal setting. The focus on discipline in our martial arts training leads to higher self-esteem, better grades, and the ability to navigate through difficult situations that your child may encounter. Students will also have the opportunity to compete in martial arts.

Lion Cubs is specifically designed for 5 and 6 year old students. This class introduces them to martial arts training, improves their coordination and strength, and builds discipline and self-control.
All of our instructors are available for private lessons. We offer privates for men, women and children in all martial arts and personal fitness. Privates are scheduled directly with the trainer of your choice around your schedule. Privates are a great way to supplement classes, or you can train only in privates if that is all that your schedule permits.
